Our approach to HIV-AIDS, gender based violence, and alcohol harms elevates community based learning and participatory action research as an essential strategy.
We have two signature projects: Young Women for Life and Safe Taverns Project.
The projects utilize three strategies: practice, participatory action research, policy advocacy
Practice: Working with communities to create and implement own solutions, action plans and program design . Participatory Action Research: Capacitating participatory action research to generate learning and knowledge based on community-based practices.
Policy Advocacy: Bringing the community action and learning to bear on advocacy for policy change
